Khalid Lawal

Khalid Lawal graduated from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, with a degree in Civil engineering (B.Eng.). Afterwards, he pursued a course in Project Management (PMP). He is an international member of NSBE, holding vast positions in their ranks for engineering development in Nigeria.

Khalid Lawal is the Senior Project Manager and Civil Engineer at AEK Building and Civil Engineering Construction Company and a devout fundamentalist in construction and engineering processes.

Before joining the company, Khalid Lawal was privileged to gather experience from all parts of Nigeria after working with Funsho Nig Ltd in Ilorin for the reconstruction of the Emir’s palace wing. He joined UPDC PLC and was part of the project management team that built Metro Garden Estate in Lekki and Grandville Estate in GRA, Lagos.

After being transferred to Abuja to join the team that delivered Metro City Estate development for the company above, other real estate development and management, such as Pinnock beach estate Site Phase 1 & 2, requested him due to his productivity. He also worked with Chavic Global Projekts Ltd. in Lagos to construct the Opebi Mews Estate. He is a generous being with a quest for knowledge of infrastructural development and is part of the budding engineering team building a change in Nigeria.

Khalid enjoys meeting people, sharing ideas, reading, and travelling. He enjoys art in the form of paintings and classical music. Apart from structural developments, he tends to devote his time to research on environmental engineering and conservation to comb new green technology in building developments.
