Ogundiran Akinkunmi is a registered Building Engineer, Construction Project Manager, and Researcher with years of experience in the private and public sectors, responsible for building production management, infrastructural development, planning and execution of construction projects. He possesses vast experience in construction management, project cost estimation, risk management, and health and safety management.

He is presently the Senior Project Manager and Building Engineer at AÉK Construction Company, a Building and Civil Engineering Construction Company that focuses on Real Estate Projects in the major cities of Nigeria with many affiliates in England, Johannesburg (South Africa) and the USA.

Akiunkunmi has been involved in consultancy work for iconic projects around the country's shores with a dream of extending to a far-reaching global network. His academic research work in the construction industry is well-known by many scholars all around the globe with different publications such as "The Effect of Non-engagement of Qualified Professional on Construction Project, Reason for Building Collapse in Nigeria and its Determinant Impact on the Social Welfare, lack of acceptable nation building code and its detriment impact in the construction industry".

As a project manager, he has successfully managed projects with a portfolio worth Five Million Dollars (5,000,000.00) and delivered projects under their budgeted cost with about ten (10) per cent saving on the estimated cost and a triumphant return on investment (ROI) of approximately fifty (50) per cent.

He has also coordinated cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects, resulting in a customer satisfaction score of 95%. He has coordinated projects with a workforce of about two hundred (200) workers in which projects were sectionalized and sectional engineers were appointed for different project areas.

As a project manager, he has led project team members and overviewed their activities with outstanding engineering and professional project management skills. He and his project managers implemented a new project management system, resulting in a 20% increase in project efficiency and on-time delivery rate.
